On May 10, 1980, Chengdu Shuangliu Electric Control Equipment Factory was established.

In September 1986, under the background of the "Grand Union" policy, Chengdu Shuangliu Electric Control Equipment Factory was reorganized and established as the Sichuan Electric Appliance Factory Second Branch, initiating public-private joint operations with a registered capital of RMB 404,000.

On June 30, 1992, the public-private joint operations concluded. The Shuangliu County Planned Economy Commission issued the “Official Reply Concerning the Renaming of Sichuan Electric Appliance Factory Second Branch” (Shuangjijingsheng [1992] No. 166), approving the renaming of "Sichuan Electric Appliance Factory Second Branch" to "Sichuan High Voltage Switchgear Factory," and designating the factory address as No. 147 Zhengbei Street, Huayang, covering a land area of 1.2 hectar.

On June 22, 1999, approved by the Shuangliu County Administration for Industry and Commerce, “Sichuan High Voltage Switchgear Factory” was renamed “Sichuan Switch Factory” (Registration No. 5101221800421) and relocated to No. 1632, Tianfu Avenue.

Chuan Kai Electric Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of RMB 68 million.

On April 28, 2009, a resolution was passed at the shareholders’ meeting on the “Proposal for the Overall Transformation of Chuan Kai Electric Co., Ltd. into a Joint Stock Company”, approving the conversion of Chuan Kai Electric Co., Ltd. into a joint stock company and its relocation to No. 1158 Huafu Avenue.

On October 15, 2015, the company was officially renamed Chuan Kai Electric Co., Ltd. and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qingdao Tgood Electric Co., Ltd.

In January 2020, the company relocated to No. 1888 Konggang 5th Road, covering an area of 20.07 hectares.
